Exploring the Stories That Shape Our Lives
Sometimes the stories we carry about ourselves become dominated by challenges, difficult experiences, or limiting beliefs. Narrative therapy offers a space to explore these stories with curiosity and care.
Together, we can examine the influence of problems, discover the strengths and values that have always been present, and create room for stories that reflect who you are and what matters most to you.

My Focus & Expertise

I work with people who are looking to explore the stories shaping their lives and relationships. My approach is grounded in narrative therapy, which separates people from the problems they face and focuses on uncovering strengths, values, and possibilities that may have been overlooked. I help clients navigate:
-
Anxiety & Overthinking – Understanding how anxious thoughts influence your story and discovering moments of resilience.
-
Life Transitions – Exploring changes in career, relationships, or personal identity to reconnect with your values and hopes.
-
Relationships – Reflecting on the stories that shape how you connect with others and clarifying what matters most in your relationships.
-
Identity & Self-Understanding – Supporting exploration of your sense of self, values, and aspirations.
-
Grief & Loss – Creating space to honour experiences of loss while noticing ongoing strengths and meaningful connections.
-
Feeling Stuck – Examining dominant problem stories and identifying alternative possibilities for living a more fulfilling life.
How I Can Help
I primarily work from a narrative therapy framework, helping you explore the stories shaping your life, relationships, and sense of self. I also integrate other approaches as needed, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and culturally sensitive practices, to ensure our work meets your unique needs.
My Approach & Modalities
-
Narrative Therapy – Exploring the stories that influence your identity and life, separating you from the problems you face, and developing alternative, preferred stories.
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Understanding the different “parts” of yourself and how they interact, helping you build internal harmony and self-compassion.
-
Solution-Focused Therapy – Focusing on strengths, resources, and actionable steps to help you move toward the outcomes that matter most.
-
Person-Centered Therapy – Providing a warm, non-judgmental space where your experiences guide the conversation.
-
Culturally Sensitive Practice – Recognizing how culture, social context, and relationships shape your experiences and your stories.
ABOUT MY PRACTICE
Curiosity. Reflection.
Support.
People often come to therapy when a problem begins to grow– shaping the way we see ourselves and our place in the world. It can feel as though the problem has taken over our lives, leaving little room for our voice, strengths, or dreams. My hope is to create a space that feels safe, compassionate, and collaborative, where we can explore what’s been getting in the way of your preferred way of living. Together, we will explore the stories of your life, leaning on your knowledge of self to help you grow and adapt. My role is to bring curiosity, reflection, and support as you move toward greater clarity and self-understanding.
